Ingredients (2 Servings)
- 2 medium zucchini
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Β½ cup parmesan cheese
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Β½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Make the Zucchini Noodles
Wash the zucchini and use a spiralizer or vegetable peeler to make noodle-like strips. Pat them dry with paper towels to remove extra water.
Step 2: Cook the Garlic
Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Step 3: Prepare the Cream Sauce
Pour in the heavy cream and stir gently. Let it simmer for 2β3 minutes. Add parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and chili flakes. Mix until the sauce becomes creamy and smooth.
Step 4: Add the Zoodles
Add the zucchini noodles to the pan and toss everything together for 2β3 minutes. Do not overcook or the noodles can become watery.
Step 5: Serve
Turn off the heat and garnish with fresh parsley and extra parmesan cheese if you like.
