🥩 Ingredients

For the Salmon

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

For the Broccoli

  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Broccoli

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

Step 2: Roast

Spread the broccoli on a baking tray in a single layer. Roast for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway through. Sprinkle with Parmesan during the last 2 minutes if using.

Step 3: Season the Salmon

Pat the salmon dry with paper towels. Season both sides with paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

Step 4: Cook the Salmon

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon skin-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes. Flip carefully and cook another 3–4 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily.

Step 5: Make the Garlic Butter

Reduce the heat to low. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the lemon juice and spoon the garlic butter over the salmon several times.

Step 6: Serve

Plate the salmon with the roasted broccoli. Sprinkle fresh parsley over the top and drizzle with the remaining garlic butter from the pan.
