  • 1 medium cauliflower (cut into small florets)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)

  • 1½ cups cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp mustard powder (optional)

👩‍🍳 Step-by-Step Recipe

Step 1: Prepare the Cauliflower

Wash the cauliflower and cut it into small bite-sized florets so they look similar to macaroni pieces.

Step 2: Boil the Cauliflower

Add water and a little salt to a pot.
Boil the cauliflower for 5–6 minutes until slightly tender.

Do not overcook it or it may become mushy.

Step 3: Drain Properly

Drain all the water and place the cauliflower on a kitchen towel or paper towel for a few minutes to remove extra moisture.

Step 4: Make the Cheese Sauce

Heat a pan on medium flame and melt the butter.

Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Pour in the heavy cream and stir gently.

Step 5: Add the Cheese

Add cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese.

Keep stirring until the cheese melts into a smooth creamy sauce.

Step 6: Season It

Add salt, black pepper, paprika, and mustard powder.

Mix everything well.

Step 7: Combine

Add the boiled cauliflower into the cheese sauce.

Mix carefully until every piece is fully coated.

Transfer the mixture into a baking dish.

Add extra cheese on top and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10–15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
